Harold's Filmography Harold Lloyd has been called the cinema’s “first man in space.” He was a product of the film industry. His comedy wasn’t imported from Vaudeville or the British Music Hall like his contemporaries, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. Harold learned to use the camera the way other comics used a bowler hat or a funny walk. See The Complete List!
Harold's Radio Show In 1944, director Preston Sturges recommended Harold Lloyd to host a half-hour radio show on NBC. The “Harold Lloyd Comedy Theater” premiered from New York City in October of 1944 on Sunday night at 10:30pm and ran for one season.

It featured short versions of popular films often with the original stars. The announcer was Bob Williams and the music was by Carl Hoff. The “Harold Lloyd Comedy Theater” was sponsored by Old Gold Cigarettes! LISTEN NOW!
